Chelsye: Hey Coach!!!

TDMB:   Are U married?
Chelsye: Nope. Not yet.

TDMB:   Do U have any Dogs?
Chelsye: Yes. Two a boy and a girl.

TDMB:   Do U have any kids?
Chelsye: If I can count my dogs….yes (2)….lol

TDMB:   What Kind of Dogs?
Chelsye: I have a red nose pit and a mutt..i think… I don’t know what she is… American pit lab mix (I doubt it) but what ever she is she’s smart.

TDMB:   What is it about your team and Dogs?
Chelsye: lol… they can both be mean, vicious, sweet and your best friend when they need to be. Mean on the field, vicious with the sticks, sweet off the diamond, and a friend when you need one.

TDMB:   Where are U from?
Chelsye: That Port Arthur Texas…lol..its funny cause in high school we refused to claim PA. We used to say, “Golden Triangle baby!” Haha but its P.A.T. now!!!

TDMB:   What High School?
Chelsye: Abraham Lincoln High School…the last graduating class J

TDMB:   U played Basketball in High School?
Chelsye: Yea

TDMB:   U were four time All District, MVP of the District, New Comer of the Year, Defensive player of the Year and U took your team to the playoffs that had never been in the playoffs before and they had won about ten games in twenty years before U got there, right?
Chelsye: Yea. We were desperate for players. Anyone who came to tryouts pretty much made the team when I was there and the year we made i the playoffs I think we may have started the year off with 6 or 7 players.

TDMB:   What College did U Attend?
Chelsye: Lamar University in BMT

TDMB:   How was that experience?
Chelsye: It was ok. The size of the college was great for me. I walked on and played basketball for a couple years. After that, I got onto the whole intramural scene and had a blast. B ball, flag football and all. Oh yea, and the education was good…lol…graduated May 06.

TDMB:   Did U ever think about trying out for the WNBA
Chelsye: No not really. I think I would rather have gone further with the whole fast pitch.

TDMB:   How long have U been playing Softball?
Chelsye: 16 yrs

TDMB:   What teams have U played for?
Chelsye: I’ve only completed seasons with two teams, Total Package and Lady Top Dog.

TDMB:   What other sports do U play?
Chelsye: I play softball, basketball and football. I try tennis and volleyball

TDMB:   I know U are good in Softball and Basketball but can U play football? 
Chelsye: I try to...lol. On those clumsy days I’m like “what was I thinking?”

TDMB:   I think U are one of the top five players in Texas, What are your goals for U in Softball?
Chelsye: just to be better in some way or another than the year before

TDMB:   What do U enjoy about playing on the Black Circuit?
Chelsye: the family environment

TDMB:   What would U like to see change on the Black Circuit?
Chelsye: more teams

TDMB:   Which do U prefer playing on the black circuit or playing on the white circuit?
Chelsye: I just like to play. As long as there is a good tournament with decent competition—I’m there!

TDMB:   Do U have any hobbies besides sports?
Chelsye: Read, cook, eat…lol, bowling etc.

TDMB:   Do U have any shout outs?
Chelsye: I’d like to give a shout out to everyone…lol…that way I won’t forget anyone.
